Recently, at the Fourth World Intelligence Conference, the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially released the “Artificial Intelligence Industry Talent Development Report (2019-2020 Edition)” (hereinafter referred to as the “Report”).

The “Report” surveyed 224 artificial intelligence-related companies, 92,741 job samples, and more than 380,000 talent samples. It believes that in the strong development wave of China’s artificial intelligence industry, the number of companies researching and applying artificial intelligence technology is increasing. The demand for talents has surged in a short period of time, but the artificial intelligence talent reserve is insufficient and the training mechanism is not perfect. The talent supply and demand ratio is seriously imbalanced. It is estimated that the current effective talent gap in China’s artificial intelligence industry will reach 300,000.
